⚠️ IMPORTANT - Please follow the steps below in the exact order shown.
If you are unsure how to add DNS records, send this page to your domain registrar or DNS provider and ask them to assist with adding the records.
You can access the control panel through the Customer Portal.
Step 1: Create the MX Record
Add the following MX record to your domain’s DNS zone.
| Type | Name | Value | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| MX | @ | postbox.owlmail.com.au | 0 |
IMPORTANT
You must have only one MX record. Remove any existing MX records before adding this one.
Step 2: Add the Required Email Records
- Log in to the Control Panel.
- Navigate to Email Deliverability.
- Click Manage next to your domain.
- Copy the records shown (DKIM, SPF, and DMARC).
- Add these records to your domain’s DNS zone at your registrar or DNS provider.
INFO
If these records are not added, your emails will go to spam.
If SPF, DKIM, or DMARC records already exist for your domain, update the existing records instead of creating duplicates.
Step 3: Create Your Email Address
- Log in to the Control Panel.
- Go to Email Accounts.
- Create your new email address.
TIP
DNS changes can take up to 30 minutes to take effect.
